1. Overview

Effective date: October 28, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains what data Fantelle, the operator of fantelle.com (the Platform), collects, why, and what rights you have. We collect the minimum needed to run a paid subscription platform and we do not sell personal data.

2. Data We Collect

Account data

Your email address, your password, and the display name you choose. Your display name is shown next to your comments; your email address is never shown to other users. Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes; we cannot read them and never store them in plain text.

Age confirmation

When you confirm that you are 18 or older (at sign-up or at the age check), we record that you confirmed, when, and the country or region your connection came from as reported by our CDN. If you enter a date of birth, it is used for the check and not stored. We do not collect ID documents or photos.

Patreon login

If you log in with Patreon or connect your Patreon account, Patreon sends us your Patreon user id, the email address on your Patreon account, and, for the creator you connected, your membership id and membership status (what you pledge, whether your last payment went through, and when the next one is due). We use this only to grant access to that creator's content on Fantelle and to re-check your membership later. We keep your Patreon user id, email address and membership id, and a record of the access your membership grants. We do not receive your name or any payment details from Patreon. If you start signing up with Patreon and do not finish, what Patreon sent us is kept for at most 30 minutes and then discarded.

Payment data

Payments are accepted exclusively in cryptocurrency (USDT). We record blockchain transaction identifiers, sending wallet addresses, amounts, and timestamps in order to match payments to subscriptions and resolve disputes. We do not collect or process card numbers or bank details — there is no card payment on the Platform at all.

Viewing activity

When you watch a reel, we record which reel you watched and for how long. This is linked to your account or, if you are not signed in, to a session cookie (see section 3). We use it only to rank and personalise the reels feed and to count views. It is deleted after 90 days.

Recommendation and registration measurements

We measure visible recommendation and registration blocks, clicks, completed web registrations, new free follows, and later content visits to understand whether these features are useful. These records use a random first-party browser identifier and, when signed in, your account identifier. The measurement records do not contain raw IP addresses or email addresses. A completed registration or follow can be associated with the last tracked click within 24 hours. Event records are deleted after 90 days. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this measurement. Blocking cookies or changing browsers can prevent attribution.

Support requests

What you write in a support ticket, the email address we reply to, and any screenshots you attach. Screenshots are stored privately: only you and our support staff can open them.

Server logs

Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URLs, timestamps), including a record of which protected videos a signed-in account opened, are kept for 14 days for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics, after which they are deleted. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept longer.

3. Cookies

We use functional first-party cookies and first-party measurement cookies:

  • a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is also set for visitors who are not signed in when they start logging in, when they watch a reel, so that we can tell which reels they have already seen (see Viewing activity above), and when they open a protected video, so that the playback cookies below can be tied to that visit;
  • an age-confirmation cookie that remembers for one year that you have confirmed being 18 or older;
  • a security cookie (a CSRF token) that protects forms and the share button against requests forged by other websites;
  • a random measurement identifier (fe_visitor), lasting up to 30 days, and a last-click attribution cookie (fe_touch), lasting up to 24 hours, for the measurements described above. Neither cookie contains your email address. These cookies are not shared across websites;
  • playback cookies, set when you play a protected video hosted on Fantelle, that let our media server check you are allowed to stream it. They are tied to your current session, cannot be read by scripts on the page, and expire after about two hours;
  • a short-lived notice cookie that carries a one-off message (for example, that a Patreon login failed) to the next page and is cleared once the message has been shown.

Cloudflare, which carries our traffic (see section 6), may set its own security cookies to tell browsers apart from automated traffic.

A few preferences are kept only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us: whether reels play with sound, where you stopped in a video so that it can resume there, and the emoji you used recently in chat.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. How We Use Data

We use the data above to provide and secure the service, confirm payments and grant access, rank and personalise the reels feed, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

5. No Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

6. Third Parties

We share data only with providers necessary to operate the Platform:

  • Xazum — cryptocurrency payment processing. Receives the transaction details required to detect and confirm your payment (wallet addresses, amounts, transaction identifiers); it does not receive your password.
  • Cloudflare — CDN and security layer. Traffic to the Platform passes through Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver content and block attacks.
  • Patreon — only if you choose to log in with Patreon or connect it. We read from Patreon the data described in section 2. Patreon learns that you connected your account to Fantelle; we do not send it anything about what you watch or buy here.

We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Fantelle, creators, or users.

7. Retention

  • Account data is kept while your account exists.
  • Server logs are kept for 14 days, as described above.
  • Viewing activity is deleted after 90 days.
  • An unfinished Patreon sign-up is discarded after at most 30 minutes.
  • Support tickets, and the screenshots attached to them, are kept until the ticket is deleted or the screenshots are removed. You can remove a screenshot you sent at any time from the ticket page, and our support staff can remove any screenshot. Deleting your account does not remove them on its own; say so in your deletion request if you want them removed too.
  • Payment transaction records may be retained after account deletion where necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal defence.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time via the support form at /support/ or support@fantelle.com. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

Deleting your account anonymises it. We delete your email address, password, name and profile details, two-factor keys, Patreon link, notifications, follows, bookmarks, likes, and the record of which videos you opened; we remove your comments, chat messages and chat pictures; we clear the text of your direct messages and tip messages; and we detach your viewing activity from you, so that it remains only as anonymous counts.

We keep the following, linked only to a pseudonymous account id with no email address, password or name: payment orders and billing events, the access they granted, your 18+ confirmation, your support tickets (without your email address), and our internal audit log. We keep these for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal defence.

If a cryptocurrency payment you made in the last 14 days is still being confirmed, we complete the deletion once that payment has settled or the 14 days have passed. If your account runs a creator page, the page has to be handed over or closed first.

9. Data Security

All traffic is encrypted with TLS, passwords are hashed, and internal access to personal data is restricted to what operation of the service requires. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected users without undue delay.
